- Remove the silicone gasket attached to the base of the dripper. Using tweezers, a flathead screwdriver, or the handle of a toothpick can make removal easier.
- Once the gasket is removed, clean the groove in the base to remove any dirt or buildup. Wash with a soft sponge or brush and a mild dishwashing detergent, then rinse thoroughly.
- Remove any moisture from the groove and allow it to dry completely.
- Install the silicone gasket. When doing so, avoid using tools as much as possible and fit it into place by hand. If tools are necessary, cover the tip with a cloth or use the handle of a toothpick, taking care not to damage the gasket.
